Wood Protection

We stock a wide range of primers, topcoats, woodstains and varnishes that are suitable for painting wood  in marine or domestic situations.

The Demidekk range is a high quality, extremely durable wood coating brand from Jotun, The range includes;

• Demidekk Cleantech - a satin finish coating suitable for painting on wood or metal (suitably primed) which can be applied over previous coatings.
• Demidekk Infinity – a semi-gloss finish that is otherwise similar to Demidekk Cleantech. 

If applying over bare or untreated softwood we would recommend a first coat of Visir Clear Primer which contains powerful fungicides to protect against wood rotting and surface moulds.  Visir Clear Primer should not be used on hardwood.
